today was some sort of action.
woke up at 6:45 am because i had to move my car. did some laundry - thanks bill for the use of your washer and dryer. had some breakfast. then came back to the shop and bill broke out the tattoo gun and away we went on some new tattoo action. i know the garbs wanted me to get 'GARBS BFF' ...but i decided on something else...kind of a companion piece to another tattoo i have plus some touch-up work on some other pieces i have. good times.
then we went out and roamed around a little - got me a shave at enzo's - i had told bill that in a perfect world my barber would be fat, old and italian...i got two of the three at enzo's. fat he wasn't. and he did a great job. good fun. old school not hipster dofus we can maybe fit you in friday action. i loved it. then we went and got some lunch where i/we ran into a woman i know, shannon, who used to work in film in vancouver. she now lives in PEI after buying her grandparent's house. it was great to see her. small world.
tonight i had dinner with my very good friend debbie....she moved here about two years ago to be with the new love of her life katherine. she seems very happy and it was nice to finally meet katherine. we had a nice dinner in the east end and i finally had to call it a night as i am heading to boston tomorrow morning. after coffee with bill.
