baby i'm amazed

i've always had great wonder, well, some interest in tourist attractions. i, when out driving around in my car generally don't go out of my way to check them out. sure, i've been to the eiffel tower, tower bridge, the top of the empire state building and the top of the world trade centre, but the small locales that had something happen at have never drawn me in - like the steam clock in gastown - i mean really, come on - the thing runs on electricity. sure it pumps out steam on the hour or whenever it feels like it but, it's electric...
last week cam sent me this link to the abbey road studios live web cam and i have been checking it out from time to time - and when i do i am amazed by the amount of people who are hanging around, taking pictures, writing on the wall, etc. i have never been a beatles fan but do get the significance of the pedestrian crossing there but am pretty sure - and in fact i didn't on any of my trips to london - go and take a picture there or have someone take my picture in the crossing. i kinda half think when i watch the live action that a car is gonna take out some tourist walking across the road pretending to be ringo.
maybe someone could set-up a live web cam at an in-n-out burger drive through or at pancho villa or ...

ok. not much lawn action yesterday or today...maybe later...
