take the bypass...

i decided not to go to san francisco this time..maybe on the way back-i dunno. i headed straight for los gatos to see sheryl and have a little lunch. well, maybe not a 'little' lunch. and this time we went to the andale's across the street from adale's. they have two locations across the street from one another. one is more take-away and the other sit down(ish) and i ate outside in the courtyard-anyone who knows me knows i don't eat outside. but i was talked into it.
after lunch we went to pick-up a saddle sheryl needed (?) and on the way dropped by a japanese garden/teahouse place. they filmed 'memoirs of a geisha' there-i guess...it's been there for a very long time and it's actually pretty cool. then we went to get her saddle. or her friend's saddle. her man, who hates me, wasn't around this time so we actually spent time hanging out, talking shit.
then i headed for santa cruz. i had decided to get rid of a pair of shoes that i figured out have become bad luck shoes. the shoes i was wearing when i fell down the stairs at the templeton and when i got struck in the head by the aluminum recently. so i decided to get rid of them in santa cruz by the surfer statue. why? i dunno. just 'cause. so after a load-up at trader joes i headed for the beach area. and there they now liove, or were left. i hope someone is wearing them. a bum. or someone. it's kinda weird since they have my blood on them. but, a little piece of me is now in santa cruz. or in the garbage somewhere.
drove through california and almost into arizona last night. i've driven a lot today but kinda slowly and stopped a bumch of times to take some pictures etc...i'm in phoenix now and it's fuckin' hot...maybe too hot. thank god for a/c...
i'll figure out the baseball schedule tomorrow.....too much work right now....
