good morning san diego...

so i left tucson, AZ yesterday afternoon and headed west again. i had no real agenda once in made tucson, as i was really on this trip to a: get to the fuck outta town and b: see spike...having done both those things...i had thought about flying to NYC to see diana and monica or going down to texas but..the plane would have been kinda pricey for when i wanted to go and texas is cold right now..so fuck that...
i had an interesting morning in sandiego. or just outside of it, or near it...well, on the freeway at 7 a.m.-i'll tell you more about it later on...maybe. also, there are no truck stops on the I-8 between phoenix and san diego so no showers either. so i headed to the border where i knew there was a large truck stop and had a shower there...it was a bit of an adventure...no problemo..
in san diego i had breakfast at the sun cafe-super greasy spoon disguised as a hipster place...then went down to the padres strore and bought myself a padres baseball hat because the last time i was here and went to a game they didn't have one big enough for my noggin...and it was 50% off day...good times...
i went down to garnet ave, where all the kids hang out-it's the truth, and then headed back to a toy store that opened at noon called 5 and a dime. i had heard about it so i had to check it out. it took about ten minutes and i was ready to leave san diego. ok...off to LA..where i am now...i am trying to decide if i'll stay overnight here and go to this toy show in pasadena tomorrow...i told el maz-my new pal in town that i woukld but i just had another LA freeway experience that makes me wanna keep heading north...

we'll see....
