arizona you're my lady...

woke-up this morning just outside of plam springs...invcredibly windy last night on the highway...while driving at one poiunt, it blew so hard i had this strange immediate thought that i had just blown a tire...i oulled off the raod and everything was fine but it was kinda scary. i had a couple of close calls while changing lanes because of the wind and almost misses and exit, that would have completely boned me if i had missed it, but another driver saw my problem and let me in at the last moment. truth be told-and maybe issy shouldn't read this part...i actually was headed for a small division (see ravine...) in the freeway that way have landed me more than a few feet below the freeway and my next call would have been to triple A...good times...
anyhow..still very windy this morning. at times it feels like the car is labouring in the wind or that i may be swept off the road...but i haven't been yet...
i've made it to tucson and have made phone contact with renee and am heading over to her place now...i'm very excited to see her. she is, without a dubt, one of my favorite people in the whole world...

here are some pics from the art/toy showe last night in pasadena...thanks to corie for talking me into staying in pasadena and not just hitting the raod...it was a grat time. i met a few people from the kid robot board, one of which was in the show, and another wman and her husband who run a toy company, october toys.

ok...off to renees...

more details later...
