as the former king of kits...

raine lemay...eric's kid-enjoys the bike...

yesterday was actually relaxing, kind of...i only had the one day off this week and had to use it to get shit done but had some time to sit and relax...i started off by buying some new shoes at the new balance store on robson street...i had to. i am getting a catscan done on my ankle in a few weeks but need to treat my feet a little better anyways so i though i would try this...and i bought the loudest color they had...actually it was the show the dude at the store recommended due to my probelm so...loud yellow shoes it is. they feel great and have a mesh top so the air runs through them...it's pretty cool, no pun intended...i hope my feet like them..they better for the cash i had to lay out for these babies..
after getting those on i walked across the street and bought a couple rod stewart cd's i had been looking for...atlantic crossing and a night on the town...good times.. although i didn't listen to them until much later in the day as i'm still pretty into the new ladyhawk cd...but when i did get around to listening to atlantic crossing...it was great...
then i headed over to kits and had coffee with daisley who i haven't seen in a while as he's been working like a freak as have i...it was great. we watched people try and park and then watched people drive away because they didn't know how to park. then i ditched him and headed up for a little walkaround of fourth ave...i didn't get far as i ran into my good pal matt in front of westbeach...i regailed him with stories of idiots and others, talked rock and roll-because he's a rock and roller...and then i had to get moving-i actually thought i was holding him up...he's a busy man, he doesn't need me keeping him from his rounds...
(i should point out that i forgot my camera in the car so....imagine what all these guys look like...)
then up fourth i went....then i ran into don bull of all people...we chatted, i told more stories, gave advice and instructions and we had a few laughs...at our expense and others..then he went home to be don bull.....
in zulu i chatted with brady, a guy i really like..even though i think he just tolerates me...he's far smarter than i could ever be but i like having discussions with him about the state of indie rock and why all these young skinny indie dudes are rocking the goofy moustaches...anyhow..i left so he could get back to work...love that guy..
then it was up to meinhardt for a sandwich...no adventure there, just a good sandwich...i had no breakfast so i needed something...then to choices for for groceries for the week..no adventure there...
then after getting home for a few minutes i had a shower and went and grabbed the network on my motorcycle and away we went for dinner...just regular nothing special sushi and then ice cream ay casa gelato...i had none but watched others eat their fill...i saw a guy on an old bmw motorcycle and then he saw me walking towards mine....as it turned out it was tom wren, a guy from my past and present who is a pal of mishi's as well..he had just bought the bike off shail and was looking good on it...i didn't, at first, recognize, the rider on the back of his bike but it turned out to be leeanne from the flower factory...i'm not trying to jump the gun but, if theose two are dating, wow, there's a wacky-in a good way-pair...
then i took the network home and i went home to bed...i was done...and then i slept in late today and was late for work...oh well....it's only a movie....

enjoy the pics...

i love you
