mom, i feel a little dizzy...
today was a six lawn day. and i think, although i have never really timed myself before, that i may have smackdowned a personal best today. six lawns in six hours. pretty good. and this included the driving. what makes it even more impressive, if at all, is that the first lawn was at 62nd and kerr and the last was in north van at 6th and st. andrew's. i'm a fucking machine. but all was not as it maybe should have been today.
as i was finishing my third lawn today, near commecial drive, i, all of a sudden, became very dizzy, had some pretty cool blurry vision and started shaking like a small lap dog. it was awesome. the best part was when i almost fell down, well, maybe it was more of a stumble. it was good though. after making it back to the car i headed for jj bean, just down the hill at powell and victoria, and hossed down a couple of their peanut granola bar things and a couple bottles of juice to try and get the blood sugar back up...i still had three more lawns to do - and i was working on a personal best...after a short sitdown, i was ready to rock again, kind of...after keith's lawn i was a little better and by the end of teri's lawn i was ready to kill the last lawn in north van. i still feel a little out of it now but i've had mucho aqua and some fine fish and chips so i'm gonna pull through.
the queen was, and is right now in fact, heading to the rock - newfoundland, to see her daughter graduate - or something, and will be back in a week. and since i am airport guy, i drove her there. we stopped along the way for dinner at barney's and corie rode over from his place to join us. the queen had a couple pre-flight drinks and was pretty much good to go by the time we left barney's...it was an entertaining ride from barney's to the airport.
ok...soon, bed. more water first.
g. xo
the queen proves you can drink and text at the same time.
and then after a few drinks...
i think the sucker should be this big...i think.
