today's the day. sadly. today's the day i retire my favorite lawn cutting shorts. there are a lot of memories in these babies. i bought these in seattle on a day trip there with pam and mishi that included not only the buying of the shorts but also running out of gas in the comet and having a cop inform me that i had a warrant out for my arrest (shocker) in washington state and that i could no longer drive my car. it's a long story but a good one. maybe one day. suffice to say mishi drove after we got gas and until i figured john law was no longer watching us. good times. i'll miss those shorts. i will. theyve been repaired several times by mishi and, although you can't really see it in the photo, have totally blown out in the front now in an area that's too hard to sew. maybe i should frame them.
i finally got around to taking pictures of a couple notes that came my way. one mishi found and passed on to me and the other, the asian shopping list, i found while cutting a lawn over near kamloops and dundas. enjoy.
ok. i'm off to help marcy get some goods for her garden area and have some breakfast snacks. then more hockey later on.
