yesterday jenn (the queen) and i drove out to issy's to pick-up some contaband, have a visit and download some music onto her computer so that she can really rock out when she's having those highly competetive games of scrabble on-line...issy fed me some egg salad sandwiches while she and the queen hacked butts and drank coffee...good times..
afterwards the queen and i did a drop-by at voltage and then headed to granville island as the queen had a hankerin' for a burger and i needed to get some goods for the bbq at brent and mina's a little later on...it was kinda a going away thingy for muc and a birthday celebration for jenn...not that jen, the other jenn. not jen with one N, the other jenn. ok. we also had a visit with mishi who was tending the pickle and corie who had ridden down in the rain and was now soaked...nice.
i dropped off the quuen, went home and got rid of some shitola and then went and got megan and headed to brent and mina's... it was nice. ate some food, talked with all the kids i never see - glace, lara, another jenn (byron's gal), byron, jordan and arlo - lara's rug rat. the best part of the evening being when they brought out the pies i had gotten yesterday at savary island pie company...a blueberry number and the great lemon buttermilk.
then it was off to the movies. where something really 'shitty' happened - but more on that later when i can expand on it....
we had a little time before our movie because we missed the first showing so we decided to go and have a marg at the topanga and then hot the flick..and i have to say, say what you will about the big stars but, Oceans 13, very entertaining.
ok. i'm off to drive muc to the airport...
