anyone who really knows me knows that i don't like naps. sure, i like sleeping - which is kind of a weird statement really. when you're asleep, you're asleep, i'm not sure you can really like or dislike it because you're not concious. anyhow. i needed a little nap today after i came back from running a few errands with the queen of the universe. my house could use a cleaning, i should be figuring out what joel wants as he called today and may have some work on a re-shoot of a film we did just before christmas and i need to get ready for hockey tonight - playing not watching. the bombers take the ice at 10:30 pm and will, hopefully, kick some ass and take a few names. but i have put all that off for the time being as i need to get some dinner ready for penelope and then watch a little of the red wings/sharks game.
as for hockey, i have to admit that besides the canucks getting eliminated as a thing i'd love to see happen, i don't care much about the playoffs. i was so bored watching the game last night i switched to NBC and Law and Order instead. as for the wings, sure, i love 'em but am not concerned if they get booted out of the playoffs. it was fun, however, driving down robson last night honking my horn celbrating the ducks win.
the rain came today and i don't mind. the lawns need it and hopefully it'll be dry by the weekend and i can get the sheets of grass cut before the rain comes again. al also called me today to ask me if i would drive his valient to arizona if he seels it to a guy down there. i told him he never has to ever ask me that question. maybe i'm heading south.
