myspace is a weird thing. and for those who don't know what myspace is, it's an online community of sorts. a place to meet people, post pics, hook-up, make contacts, promote your band, etc. it's kinda high scholl but it's kinda cool too,. kinda. people can ask you to be their 'friend' and you click a link and presto, you have another person in your community or network. i sometimes think issy should have a myspace page.
anyhow...
i, like everyone else, get a lot of requests to be 'freinds' or to become part of people's networks. i used to add people without any regard for who they were. i was like a collector of internet pals. i no longer do that, in fact, i have deleted a ton of fine internet folks because i had no idea who they were or what their band sounded like or whatever. the coolerator has a myspace page and has a ton of pals...hge's very popular for a dead van.
the other day a woman asked me to be her pal. i checked out her profile and at the same time checked out her pics. one of the pictures was her husband posing with his guitar kneedeep in water. i love it. i didn't add them/her to my network but i had to save the picture.

i am on my way to vancouver island-again. and io see that it's snowing out, or has snowed. should be fun.
