junior has always been one of my favorite nicknames, that and kid...
so last night we split from work a little early and i saw that the skies were clear(ish) so i made a beeline for bruna's over on 2nd near the drive...she lives next door to laurie, i cut his lawn as well, hoping i could get hers and laurie's done before a: it started raining b: before i had to bolt home to get ready for dinner with the network...i managed to get them both doen, or at least a good cut for now becasue they were both so fuckin' long and next week, say tuesday, i'll go by and cut them shorter and get them back to normal...bruna came out with her dog just as i was packing up...i think she thought i was just getting there...she asked me where i was going and why the lawn was still long-it was actually about 5 inches shorter...i explained what i was gonna do in the next couple of days..and she said, "ok..then i'll pay you ...ok?"...sure bruna..i love her. she was 'the drive' long before the drive was 'the drive'...
today i got up and headed up to jessica's as i haven't cut her lawn for a few weeks either..with the rain screwing me, my van dying and the lawnmower needing serious service...and the city was doing a ton of work around her place as well..some of the grass was well over a foot high...it was awesome...i'm going to go back there monday or tuesday as well and get it back to normal...i filled her city lawn clippings tote and themn six more large bags..which i took to the transfer station...love that place...
i think i need a burrito...

the lawnmower fits pretty well in the back of the element...new name coming but it may be ANC-all new coolerator...or stan. we'll see.
