bible belt chicken

as i am now in betwen film jobs, i have a little extra time on my hands. sure, i could go on a roadtrip - which may happen soon enough - or relax, play some hockey, cut some grass...all of which i am doing...i really am. and one can also take a drive out to chiliwack to deliver some lights to a hotel that's in the middle of a reno. which is what i did yesterday. my pals at propellor design had a few lights that needed to get to the wack so i offered up my services...i wrangled a van from the world's greatest teamster driver, paul, and away i went. it's only 60 miles there but sometimes it seems much farther...as stewart told me yesterday as i recounted my tale of the wack to him, "you get to 264th and realize you still have 40 kms still to go..." yup, that's the truth...
i wasn't really hungry once i got there but had decided that i wanted, for some unknown reason really, to eat something in chiliwack. i decided on lee's famous fried chicken - don't go there. not really that famous, i'm sure, and really not that good. and i'm pretty sure the guy who was running the place wasn't lee.
it was a good time in the wack all told...the old downtown could be anywhere and i like that. but once i had finished my fried dinner goodness, i was outta there.
i also managed, yesterday, to make a nice little wall mount thingy for the barry mcgee bottle, pictures soon enough, and it's now on the wall and looking good. i'm a bit of a proud papa about this thingy. i really love it...
no deadwood yesterday but i have re-loaded and ready to cruise through season three in the next day or so - i have watched the first two episodes of season three and am ready for more.
in case you care, santa cruz lemonade is on sale at whole foods right fucking now...2 for 4 bux...good deal. don;t delay, get some lemonade today.
ok...
i need to have a little relax before dinner...and then some deadwood later on...

enjoy.
