walkin', ridin', drivin'

i walked over to meet megan for lunch yeterday in kits and that was just lovely. nice walk, ran into andrew s. along the way and had a good talk with him as we walked together. after lunch i walked down to the new chiro guy, which happened to be right next to topanga cafe and was expecting to just fill out a few forms, and set-up a time to come in later, nope, they had a cancelation and i could, if i wanted, come back at 3:15...but on the way to lunch i had gotten a call from a guy i know who needed his lawn cut and i was worried about the rain etc...so i said yes to the appointment and then hopped the bus to get back home and get my car and gear...and then basically drive right back to kits, have my deal and then go cut grass...i should have just driven in the first place - although i didn't know about the appointment and it was a great walk...ok...
so, this new chio guy...i think he's thinking the same things as the others but he has a lot more fancy language to make it all make sense, that i'm fucked. he gives you both sides of the coin. he told me we'd go at things in a systematic fashion, see what's what and that would be that. i am going back tuesday for some kind of fancy back exam with some sort of fancy machine and then he'll know more. he's seen the ct scan and likes having that. he did say there could be improvement since i have, already, had some, but that it may not be great improvement. he also gave me the lowdown on surgery. that truthfully, a surgeon could go in there and try and fix the problem but that, and this kinda made me freak a little, it could, because the problem is so close to the spinal column, paralyze me or even....um...kill me. so...there ya go. good times.
i am continuing on and we'll see what happens. i am waiting to hear back from the pilates studio on when i can get my one on one consult...megan does work there with the same woman i will be seeing and was gonna put in a good word for me...thanks megan.
after cutting clay's lawn i met0up with marcy and we went and had a snack at me and julio's over on commercial drive...ricardo from headquarter says it's not very good but i still like it...some good grub there.
ok..i have shit to do and lawns to cut...bad back or no bad back.
