thanks tobe, thanks nick, thanks garbs...

today was the day we tackled the headquarter richmond. the first part of the install of the platform and shelves i had made by the boys at momentum woodworks, just down the way from propellor on hastings....
i enlisted the garbs, tobe and nick to help me get it done. and thank god...it was a shit eater...and i - surprise! - had a mini meltodown at one point (but actually didn't throw anything or kick anything....i'm getting better...) and had to have a little liedown in the element for a bit - i just needed a rest...and the worst part was that we/i knew exactly what we were doing and wanted to do but it just wasn't working...i won't get into the details but suffice to say, once we figured out our main problem - something we all fought with - it was clear sailing and went really well...but thank god for the boys i had with me....
ricardo seems very pleased with the work and i think it looks great...or will once it's cleaned up and a few little things are done....the lights still have to be sorted out and the cash desk i'm having made - which i'm a little concerned about since when i called about it i got, "oh yeah, i forgot about that...i'll get right on it and i'll call you back...." i never got a call back. funny, i had the same phone conversation a two weeks ago....
then, after ten hours or so of fighting it out, we were done for the day and the garbs and i headed off to topanga after dropping off ricardo at headquater....and then at topanga, there he was, mr. don bull and his much better half, donna. nice folks....
i did manage to knock off three more items off the menu....i'm getting there....

more action tomorrow...or maybe not...
