i thought i had, twice now, a new tenant for my rental joint in gastown but the last woman who said she wanted it bailed literally an hour before she was going to meet me and sign the papers...whatever. i have to admit that i wasn't a huge fan of hers and was just as happy she decided not to take it. my other possible tenant had to back-out for much more genuine reasons and i hold nothing against her decision. all good.
but now it's back to the interview process...and i do it in groups. for several reasons. one - i had the process so as many people as i can get in there at once to see it the better. two - i only have so much time so getting as many in there at once the better. so this wed. and thurs. in the evening a bunch of folks will be seeing the place and, hopefully, someone will want to take it and even better yet, i'll like them.
the above picture is one that i took of ailsa and me at the wedding - which was a bit of a gong show - and while it's not super flattering to either of us, i really like it.
