meat.


Today. The return of the Thursday lunch.

Mustard – as in mustard seed – braised short ribs with mixed yam/potato mash with mushrooms. Sauce made from the veggies and broth the beef was cooked in. it was some decent action. Mike from Fairview fittings down the road – who has also enjoyed bbq ribs and mini-burgers over at my place – came by for the festivities. His co-workers were not happy – but I told them later that they were welcome to come on by next week for some goodness. (next week I’m thinking beef brisket sandwiches and potato salad – some southern fare for the boys)

Tomorrow, the end of another week here at the salt mine and just a reminder of the art thingy at the VAG tomorrow night – your chance to see me out and in public. On purpose.
