ponies, the retrun of employee number 003 and more tacos...

it's been a couple of days to be sure. while i have not yet had a cup of coffee on my deck at the new table, i am planning that soon enough. the deck, is, however, looking more and more like a place you may want to hang out...i sat there for a few minutes this morning in the tobe chair getting ready to get out and cut...it was nice. my last deck was just big enough to piss you off, this is not like that - and hopefully you'll see it in person next saturday - rain or shine...
last night mishi and i made our way to hasting race track to help marcy celebrate her birthday - while not actually on friday it seemed as good a day as any to wish her a happy birthday. marcy's becoming a big wheel at the track and as she loves the ponies what better place to be on her big day. some of her good pals, us included in that, came out to say hello and place a few bets - including one fella who made a crafty bet and won just short of 1100 bucks on a ten dollar bet...good work fella! i didn't fare as well but no matter, i like the track. my great grandfather and his pals used to frequent the track years ago - one of the people he used to chum with at the track was nat bailey...pretty cool.
this morning saw the return of ang to the lawn order fold - as she's employee number 003 (the garbs is employee number 002, i'm 001....i guess...) ang has always loved the grass and while she didn't get to cut today she worked her ass off weeding and digging ..one of my client's - carol - has the distinction of being the only lawn order client that i do things other than weed eating and cutting for...the only one. so when she asked me if 'jan', as she calls ang, could come and work with me and help out with the weeding ang was game for it...so i did my thing and ang did her...and in the end there i was weeding and digging as well...it was good. thanks ang...
then it was taco time. ang ate like a champ though she did show signs of fading just after taco number three, but managed to dig deep and finish taco number four. ncie work.
ok...i'm off now to buy some things i need to make the bbq sauces for next saturday...

good times. they're here.
