super bike ride, super lunch, supernatural

today, after doing some domestic duties, i headed out on my bike - cruiser version - and got to running a few errands and then heading down to granville island and the pickle to visit mishi and the garbs...mishi was heading things up at the pickle as the garbs was making a late entrance today and she didn't want to leave the pickle as there were a lot of people hanging about so i trucked off to the market to get us some snacks...a little salami, some cheese - that paid for at the market and am paying for again right now - olive bread, butter beans, tszaziki, grapefruit juice, yogurt, etc...nice...and then a coffee at the jj bean courtesy of my man chris...it was a good little feast. the garbs showed up as we were finishing up but wasn't hungry (?) but did share half my cookie from terra breads...good to see hadn't lost his love for food...
fat and happy i headed off to listen to some rock at zulu just in case someone actually released something good...there were a couple of things but nothing i really needed and really, the next best record will be the new lambchop album coming in august i think....stay tuned...
then i headed up arbutus, through the fancy folks homes in shaunessy and area and along king edward to main and to voltage to see the voltage kids...erica and brea were there but christian was playing hookey...good for him...we talked about the platform i had made which, apparently, the club - the modern - wants to buy now...they like my handiwork...nice.
then a nice ride down main, a trip through strathcona and then home...where i got a phone call from my man, james vlasbom, who works on a show called 'supernatural'...he called my bluff of wanting to come out and work on his show as a day call mook...so now i'm working monday morning at 6 am in delta...good times...i'm looking forward to it...
big friday night here...
the new summer hockey starts monday evening - i'm hoping to get home in time from delta for this - and i thought it was a good time to wash my gear. my lawn cutting hats also needed a good wash so i did them as well...man, i do know how to rock a friday night...
see ya tomorrow....
