last night marcy and i went to lolita's on davie street for a little xmas dinner action mexican cantina style. if they had nothing else on the menu but the turkey tostada i'd be a happy man - that thing is good. go there, get it, if ya don't like it - i'll pay for it. seriously. we ran into pete outside. he was looking for another restaurant where he was suppose to meet a friend but, i think, was way off his mark. they were gonna have dinner and then go see 'before the devil knows you're dead'...nice. marcy and i got there before the rush, which is always a good call there as it's small and can get crowed by 6 pm and then you're fucked. we had the early bird special....i was surprised to see us out of there by 7:30 pm...but nice since i've been trying to get some decent sleeps in as i've been clocking in about 5-6 hours a night for the last while...(i miss not having shauna there and do wake-up a lot in the night because it's an odd feeling but i'm making it through- ok...stop wincing...)
today is the last day at the salt mine for a couple of weeks and i'm looking forward to the break even though i know i'll get myself busy at home doing domestic duties but that's ok....i'll be up early and need something to do before i head off to LA on the 26th to meet shauna after her cruise.
