welcome to 2006. what does that mean exactly? i dunno. as far as i can see it's sunday. and i have to now date things with a 6 instead of a 5. let the party begin. last night i had a party at my place that consisted of watching the world juniors, then the battle of alberta, edmonton oilers vs. the calgary flames-in high def. no less and then a couple of dvd's. i had managed to cover all the bases so that when it did come time to pop in a dvd i'd have it all set depending on my mood...mr. and mrs. smith, brother's keeper and high art. the pitt jolie thing was as was expected, although i have to say she freaks me out...she's weird lookin'. i don't mind pitt...cute as a button and funny...obviously not too smart though leaving jen for that freak of nature joile.. anyhow... i had seen high art before many moons ago and when i finally put it in i realized i had actually wanted to get "first love, late rites" another movie that shudder to think had done the soundtrack music for...oh well...it was fine...ally sheedy's okay by me. brother's keeper made it in at the end of the night but i only made it through 1/2 as i fell asleep on the couch...i watched the reat of it this morning as i made mac and cheese for kathy and marcy's new year's day party thingy...i won't be eating any of it but it looks awesome! so yes, welcome to 2006 my friends. i will try and keep this thing going as i think so people actually read it. i will be back to work on tuesday so many of the reports will be about the stupid and retarded goings on in the life sucking film industry...tornack understands...ok..i have to get my shit together and get out of here...
below are pics i took yesterday as i drove around getting shit done.there's a house near princess and cordova, also near kurt, dan and jeff walls' place, that has this crazy sign thing erected...i had to get a picture..maybe kurt can tell me what the hell it's all about..
