so today i decided that i would, like last night, stay home and watch tv. i watched some football, which i could really give two shits about but in high def. it's actually sort of entertining. or at least entertaining enough to watch and surf the net at the same time with. i'm more of a highlight guy when it comes to football. then i decided to watch a movie that mishi had lent me. well, that's where it all went south. during the menu portion of the dvd i had audio but when the actual movie came on...nothing. i tried another dvd and it worked. great. so then i tried it in my computer and voila, it works there too...good thing i spent all that money on the great home entertainment system...fuck! so i started watching it on my computer drive and then just couldn't take it...enough is enough. i think i should trade the whole shooting match in for a 12" black and white with a crappy second hand dvd or even a vcr. i am on the edge my friends.
so i have nothing else to report really. i'd like to say sorry to the fine folks who were at brent and mina's last night for her 40th birthday party...i didn't go and feel badly that i didn't see you but homie would have brought you all down...it was better for everyone involved that i stayed home by myself and watched tv. good times... i'm sorry to darcy zallen as well who phoned and tried to get me to go to the topanga cafe xmas party...same reasons apply. i hope everyone had fun. i do.
i have been working on these xmas presents as well and now fear i have forgotten people or that i will not have enough. i'm sorry...i'm running out of cash and time and stuff... i'm a bad man.
i have also been working on this end of year crap. one thing for sure is no more soy milk... that stuff is a better thing for me than milk but i drink so much of it, 'cause i love it, that i am getting fatter and fatter because of it... so no more soy milk in 2006. which means no soy chai lattes as well..back to the skim milk i go...also my juice intake will be lowered greatly in 2006. i love juice but it seems every time i turn around people are talking smack about juice too...and i drink 100% juice juice... more sugar and calories that coke they say...ok,..i give. there will also be no peanut butter in 2006. or mayo. i don;t care about the mayo so much...but i does love the peanut butter... i'm a fat fuck and need to drop some pounds...i'm sure by march i'll be eating gallons of mayo and hoarding peanut butter sandwiches but for now...that's the deal.
also, for those who have been keeping score at home, at the end of this month i will have not smoked for one year. and i have to say in all honesty, i feel no different. at all. not one bit. i'm not saying i'm going to start again, but it hasn't proven, yet, to have been a great thing. just letting you know.
ok..that's it for now....i need to return this stupid movie.
