well, it's almost done for another year. and for those who think i'm a scrooge, well, you don't know me as well as you may think. i am seen as such but i just got tired of the commercial aspect of the holidays and decided to forego, for the most part, the present giving. i prefer to hang out with pals, have breakfast at the grove, dinner with issy, maybe see a movie or two..then sleep it all off. i have given a few presents, some already out there and others to be given yet. small, tokens of my love for these people. i spent the day driving around getting a few things-thanks to the kids at voltage for helping me out (again), hung out on granville island for a few hours dressed in a cheap santa suit, scaring some children and driving the coolerator to the future shop with mishi so she could do some last minute shopping. ran into jenn down there with her mom and sister...her mom's name is rhoda..i love that name. it was the first time i have ever met her..she seems very cool..i'm sure she thought i was an idiot...even though i wasn't wearing the suit anymore. for some reason the guy at the sandwich place gave me a free turkey dog...nice. i think it was because i was with the garberator...he's gold down there.
i don't usually say it but i do want all those who read this little ditty every day, or whenever, to have a great holiday season. eat a lot, drink a little, sleep a lot, give hugs to those you love and even some to people you only kinda like... they deserve it too...
i'll be here, watching bad tv and surfing the net looking for crap on ebay and the kid robot site.. then later tucked in my bed waiting for santa... i've left out some cookies and scotch.
