the last two days here have been weird in that most of the working world has taken an extended long weekend, so getting goods we need to get our projects done is a bit of a test - not impossible, but certain things are hard to get...so be it.
one thing i need now is a new alternator for the element and because of the holiday yesterday it's a day behind so...i'm now gonna be a little behind in the lawn mowing dept. but i'll just have to make hay tomorrow after i get it back. they have to bring the part in from albertachuk and then do the work so it could be a late night of mowing tomorrow. maybe that means i can sleep-in tomorrow...maybe i won't get out of bed until 8 a.m....
one thing that did makes its way to us today here at the shop was pie. and not just any pie - savary island pie courtesy of ailsa, who was out and about and thought it would be a nice treat to bring me a pie - one i could share with the boys...which i did. that pie didn't stand a chance - we bought some ice cream and it's now long gone. thanks ailsa!
ok. i think it's grilled fish tonight and then, hopefully, a decent sleep - i've been battling allergies and the light in the morning waking me up so i haven't had a great deep sleep for a bit...i'm a little tuckered out...'poor little fella'...
