swinging my sweet chariot low

have you ever listened to 'this flight tonight'? the joni mitchell penned song as made famous, or better, by nazareth...? seriously. it probably moves past you now because you've heard it a million times and give it no credit...but do. just my little bit for today, musically. when i'm out cutting grass i often forgo the hipster dufus numbers in favor of my musical past which can include songs from my days a s a rock youngster - foghat, nazareth, kiss, cheap trick, etc...and some days it's the 80's period...but today it was, at one point, 'this flight tonight'....i was making my way to topanga to throw back a couple tacos, before heading home to meet miss marcy and have a little garden consult with her, and it was there, on macdonald and sixth that i cranked up 'this flight tonight'...it made perfect sense then, more now.
well, i now have eight pieces of gold in my head. yup, eight crowns courtesy of shitty fillings in the 70's that have all been falling apart. i still want the gold outline on my eyetooth but at a thousand bucks (hard to run that past the insurance...) i don't think i'll be getting one...but you never know...oh, and if you ever see me in a bunny suit - like the one i have worn a couple of times previously - and it's not a t-shirt show or halloween, it means i've won the lotto...and if you see me in that, look for mishi in a bee outfit. seriously.
so miss marcy came by today and had a look at my planters and we talked about what's to be done out there....and i'll say this - if anyone wants some lavender, i have lots that i'm giving away...come on over and i'l give it to you - no deliveries. marcy's gonna help me select some good stuff, including veggies and one day very soon we're gonna have a planting afternoon, complete with margaritas, and get it looking all spiff. i've also decided that my paralam table needs some lovin' in the form of some sanding and refinishing. it hasn't even seen a meal yet but i think it needs some help - i did what i was told to do but it seems i need to take another route with it if i want it to be the way i want it...no biggie.
ok. have a great weekend...
