yesterday film director john hughes died of a heart attack while out for a stroll in NYC...if you're within 5 years of my age - either direction - he made movies that were or became a big part of your life in your late teens or early twenties - even if it was just for that time. sixteen candles, pretty in pink and breakfast club being the most notable for me.
