the queen of the universe came in for a visit the other day and i couldn't have been happier to see her - i haven't seen her since my housewarming party in the summer. she's still happily married to tom and the world seems to be agreeing with her - work, love, etc., all seemingly in line for her...nice. we had a visit here and then headed down for a burger on granville island. she ate like a champ.last night ailsa made a great short rib dinner for her two pals rob and paula and me as our last meal of the year - i did realize later on that the reason i saw rob having problems with one of the pieces of meat i had given him, (one that appeared a little tougher than the rest) was that it was a piece of parmesean cheese put in for flavor and not meant to be eaten..sorry rob.
today is a day of nothing. i guess. i've toyed with the idea of watching some bowl football but don't care enough, so far, to even turn on the t.v. - i haven't even eaten yet either so i should probably get on that soon too...
