ice cream and sandcastles.

ok. no sandcastles but most certainly ice cream. for some reason last night, i wanted ice cream. my stomach had been upset most of the day and i hadn't been sleeping well and...well, i must need ice cream i thought. dairy queen ice cream. so i called mishi and the garbs and asked them if they wanted to get some. kind of a dumb question really. i was asking the garbs if he wanted ice cream. duh.

so off we went. and it was good.

today is my first day back at work since the end of sept. i know. i mean, i did work cutting up until the end of oct. but no film stuff since sept. which is cool. i've been busy, just with other things. just a different kind of busy. i'll just be here until we at the old BOC get started in on our new thing which starts sometime near the end of the month. i'm happy to be back working even though i'm not entirely sure of my role here. i'm kinda filler-in helper guy. i guess. and happy to be so.

oh...further to my top ten-ish yesterday. here are a few cool things from last year. in no particular order. and more will be coming as i remember back...wards.

- the new bomber uniforms. i was suspect at first but now i quite fancy the new sweaters. nice work cam.

- garvie. ailsa. ms. brown. pretty good stuff. i'm happy to have made her acquaintance. again.

- driving to mexico in feb. to see terry and sheryl. long drive. and i couldn't have been happier out in the middle of nowhere.

- lawn order season six. who would have thought? not me. that i would be still happily cutting away this many years later. and loving it.

- my bottle bbq. i'm not one to have a lot of folks over for dinner but was happy to cook food for over 100 of my favorite folks last summer. all in one night. if you were there, thanks for coming.

- pot. i know. i said that. i smoked more last year than the last ten years combined. and it still wasn't much but i'm thankful for letting myself go a little.

- discovering that the taqueria people had been telling me to try was actually pretty good. actually no, not good - great.

- finally getting collector plates for larry after all these years., no more aircare. no more high insurance rates for him. i love you larry.
