thank god for the live eastern feed on the old cable box. i get to watch letterman at 9 pm instead of 11:30 which is far past my bed time - see: old, and grumpy when enough sleep has not been had....tonight was kid ock and to be sure, he's a doofus but i still like him. he makes no bones about what he is. wite trash doofus. nice. and the new hit 'rock and roll jesus' is a sure show stopper.
another trip to granville island this afternoon - a trip that i made on my motorcycle across the granville street bridge, maybe a little faster than i should have. my second speeding ticket in two months. before these two i hadn't had a speeding ticket in b.c. for almost ten years. today i was just happy to be out there being born to be wild doncha know. the island was packed with touristos and those who act like touristos - from parts beyond like surrey and new west and richmond.
cut lisa's lawn today as well and fixed her downspot which had broken away from the main part of the gutter...lawn order is branching out. one day i'd like to be just a handy man that drives around fixing shit. how bad could it be?
the yankees were eliminated from the baseball playoffs aswell tonight. that and barry bonds not being in the playoffs to begin prove to me that the earth my just be back on its axis afterall...tom would agree i'm sure.
