rolls that fit and lawns that are done ....for now

a while back mishi and i went to the costco and loaded-up on whatever you load-up on at costco - gallons of mayo, five packs fo ketchup, pound containers of tuna, that sort of thing and i also grabbed a big pack of shit tickets. now, i usually grab one brand there but, because the another brand right next to it was a buck or two cheaper - i know idiot rookie move, i grabbed it instead. it looked soft, nice, like it would do the job....but when i got it home it wouldn't fit into my holder thus for the last few months i have had to put the roll on the counter. sure, it looked stylish there but really, it wasn't its home. ang tried to put it in there one night, and she did a great job, but the roll would not turn. so back on the counter it went. i felt like a bad housekeeper. like people would think i didn't care enough to put the roll in the holder for them to use. like i really didn't care. well, as it happened the other day we needed a big pack of shit tickets for the shop so i gave them the remainder of mine - which seem to fit in our work holders - good times, and i bought myself some replacements for mine at home. it's like a brand new day. the sun's shining and i have toilet paper in my holder. right where it should be. i'm a little giddy over it. i know shauna feels better about it too.

knocked-off a few lawns yesterday which felt good. it was a long week at work - i know they're all the same length but some feel more like 100 hours long rather than my usual 60 or so....i was out and cutting yesterday by 8:30 am which meant the grass was a little wet but it worked out just fine. it's the end now really but i think it may be the end if the month before i can put the mowers away for good and give the elephant a good clean and try and get all the random grass out of all it. my mowers need a good running over as well and my weed eater could use a little loving...they've had a busy year and one may actually have to be retired...

that is the funniest thing i've read in a long time - shit tickets on a roll that's too big for the holder!
