today's activities included a trip to simply computing to get shauna's macbook out of hock, actually it was in for a little repair - all good....a snack run to granville island - we had actually hoped to see the kids at the pickle as well but they weren't there. they may have been getting all psyched-up for their trip to aunt fanny's and her big turkey hoedown...and ricky's thanksgiving rant and roll. had a short chit chat with the kids at jj bean on the island and noticed that chris had gotten his braces off - our boy is all grown up....looks good...then instead of a healthly breakfast we had yogurt and danishes filled with gooey goodness - totally natural ingredients as well, at least in the yogurt...we ran into 'he who can not be named on the blog' as well in front of jj bean and he reminded me of his phone number - i guess i had neglected to call him back a few times this week. it's the baseball playoffs and we need to get down to business....honey roasted peanuts and san pelegrinos are all around...it's another year where barry bonds in not in the playoffs....a successful year i'd say.
last night after our hockey game corie headed over to rob's f's birthday celebration and i headed to propellor to work on the giant shelving unit a little with tobe...such a good guy that tobe...he was getting sick but still came over and helped me out so that i could move forward on the old shelf....nice. then it was off to dinner at kingyo on deman for ang's birthday...we ate like champs and gave ang got a couple good gifts...oh, and a photo from me from the 'maybe, arizona' show...shauna gave her some very fancy white cups and corie gave her a beautiful pair of scissors to give her a good head start on her hairdressing career...
tonight's dinner extravaganza was at issy's place...the guestlist included, emilie, ang, shauna, corie, gary, glenn, bailey, katriena, issy, louie and stella...and a lot of food. we had picked-up two pies and ice cream and some flowers for issy and issy had taken care of the rest...good work issy...we all left full and ready for some serious couch time...we took larry there and back and he took care of it very well. nice. pics from issy's will be coming soon as soon as i get them off of shauna's camera....
now it's more desperate housewives and the end to another sunday...maybe a lawn or two tomorrow...maybe not. we'll see.
