shauna and i walked like champs again today. it's a bit of a test finding decent coffee in this town but after finding some near the west side of central park, we walked through the park then down through town and over to the MOMA. as we were lining up for our tickets a woman stopped us and gave us some free tickets to get into the museum - pretty good, saved us 40 bux...nice. it was like a little primer for the second part of our trip as there were three donald judd pieces at the MOMA...good times.we then did a little more walking and ended-up having some street meat near times square...it was a bit of a gong show and a bit hard to tell here but, we didn't have the most personable or quick like a whip food vendor - shocker.
tonight we met-up with diana and her main man, brent, at a wine bar called 'wine bar' in the west village. it was great to see them...we had a few snacks, a little wine and told some stories...diana moved here two years ago to be with brent- so cute....and they're now looking at buying a place in brooklyn, where they live now but rent a place.
tomorrow we'll do more....walking but since it our last day here we'll be taking the subway more to get to a few places we'd really like to get to - as well as dinner at sylivia's soul food in harlem. nice...
