the tigers defeated the yankees last night in the fifth game of the american league division series and will now move on to play the texas rangers starting saturday. and while i don't follow pro sports as i once did, i still love the tigers and especially love that it was alex rodriguez was the final out of the game. sure, great player but an asshole. or maybe not, i dunno. but a sports asshole for sure. and that he struck out in the seventh with the bases loaded.

and so now the honey roasted peanuts come out - the first round is never really worthy of the prized nuts, but now...we're on. i remember seeing the A's play the tigers a few years back in a division series and it was amazing. think crazy hockey fans but over 45,000 of them in one place. at one time. i loved it. and i ate nuts there too. (pardon?)
so do it for sparky detroit. do it for sparky.
