so corie called me up and wanted to go to the skate park and ride his bmx...while i used to be a bike guy, did he wanrt me to ride the bowl too? fuck that. too fuckin' old...i take far longer to heal now... i did take a turn around the bowl but decided i was better off being like a dad and just watching... some dude showed up with his deck and he took a couple turns but fled in his minivan... probably to go get his cool kid...i never thought i'd see a skater in a mini van that he/she owns...getting old is cool..

corie wanted to see some cool shops, because he - like a lot of others, is convinced i should open my coffee/cereal shop... maybe if i could sell toys as well.. so i took him, actually he drove, to anona on main st. for some of the town's best lemonade and a brownie. i ate some sort of pumpkin/chocolate muffin thing... i should have stopped right then and there... then it was off to look at shoes at umeboushi...stephanie was all decked out as usual...nice store...in told her she needs to get some feit shoes in...long story...then i dragged him to eugene choo... nothing to report...although i did find a haute coutrhoodie i liked...
then it was south to yaletown to eat some thai food..big mistake...great food but i think it's comtinuing to expand in my stomach... i need to have a nap for eight hours...
my car is getting moved tomorrow..and so the work begins... hopefully there won't be too many tears...updates as i see fit...
