bunnies, butterflies and a delicious shit sandwich.

hey kids...
so no report as of yet but i did have wonderful dreams last night....actually, i don't remember anything except getting up three times to go to the bathroom because i had a little too much water before bed last night...too much info? ok...

the sky was kinda cool last night so i took a few pics as i was driving home.

also the car magazine that came and took photos of larry came in the mail yesterday. only one photo of larry but i guess it's still cool that he's in there...

enjoy the pics... i love you

bring on the green...

the rain does that..i think. and we need it. even though, this year, i am only cutting a handfull of lawns, the ones i am cutting are all brown and shitty with little glimpses of green..hopefully today and last night's rain will help a little....
it seems i have a thing lately for letting people know that they can't be dicks anymore...last night a guy, for (honestly) no reason, gave me the finger while i was coming onto the granville street bridge...to make this into a short story..i made it quite clear, once we crossed over the bridge and were stopped at a light, that that was acceptable. i think he got the point. i will not elaborate. i then went and got some groceries at choices...which was a test as well...
a woman, dressed in the yaletown uniform of yoga gear and cell phone, who was about to pop because she was bigger than a house due to her soon to be arriving kid, was talking on her cell phone to one of her pals...and let me say this..i have the mouth of a trucker to be sure but it's all about time and situation..anyhow...she was chatting at a high level using 'fuck' and 'fucking' over and over..in the middle of choices market...idiot...
anyhow..i got groceries, made some nice curry once i got home and then went to bed...and dreamt a little dream about running through the clover with the bees making honey.

have a great day.

i love you.

corie's new toy action...

so after months of test rides and consultations, corie finally took the plunge and bought a new mountain bike for his good times on the north shore and urban assault...he settles on the Cove Hustler...and why not? seems great...we could have only dreamt of a bike like this when we were riding the shore...five days a week on hardtails...i feel so old today...but that's one hell of a bike..

..the meltdown continues...and thanks garbs!

so...what can i say here? let me first say this, thanks to the garbs for coming to portland/seattle this weekend. he's a good man. and an even better man to have put up with me as i had a mini-meltdown...a few times. a full meltdown would have entailed me hitting things, or throwing things..which i didn't do...but i did do a lot of swearing and yelling at people from the car window...but in my defence..i had a few thing working against me...every asshole and his whole family was out on the interstate this weekend looking for a good time, i was having garn's famous stomach problems and i couldn't emjoy any food on the trip...anyhow..to him i apologize but i was glad he came along...i think he had a good time despite me...good times...last night we drove well over 250 kms looking for a hotel that had a vacancy...and for both days the I-5 was like rush hour traffic for hundreds of miles...when you're used to doing 75 miles per hour (or better...) and now at best it was 60 and less...anyhow...i will not travel during the summer anymore...i hope. it was like when marcy and i were in france and had rented a car during the month of august-when everyone in france takes the whole month off...we had no choice because it was when i was off owrk but there were some tests over there as well...
oh..as a side note...Fancy-a store in seattle that sells some of mishi's wallets, wants some of my 'crack kicks ass' t-shirts...weird...why not i suppose.

here is a (partial) list of things the garbs enjoyed this weekend...

many coffees, a mcgriddle, egg mcmuffin, orange juice, a chicken and relleno burrito, a dick's deluxe burger, fries, peanut butter filled pretzels, bbq beef burrito, mini muffins, smoothie, pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast,

more pics for your enjoyment...

man...i can't even tell you.... after eating a macdonald's breakfast thingy with the garbs, my stmach went on the fritz....so i haven't really eaten for a while now...garbs however had eaten very well...hossin' down a couple donuts at voodoo donuts, a buttiro at la sirenita, etc...i could only watch...then after we had been to missing link, had coffee, downed some food crap from trader joe's and visited upper playground and compound...we headed for the coast...that's where things went south...i can't even talk about it...so i won't...

here are the pics...

fuck honesty! i'm going back to smuggling!

so in a complete about-face, i have been doing right by the authorities. i paid-off all my parking tickets recently and now have been nothing but honest at the border...but it still didn't make any difference...today i was bringing in some toys i had ordered from NYC and told them exactly how much they were worth. i did not have a bill but...anyhow..it's a long story...suffice to say that border guard #18199 is a complete jerk-off. i'm pretty sure he's not going to be doing any brain surgery anytime soon...i am going back to smuggling things into the country...it doesn't pay to be honest...so fuck 'em...
these toys are more from brooklyn based artist Kaws...but i don't know if i'm feelin' them...i may just put them up for sale or maybe just try and trade for something i really want...i bought a new mini-tripod and tried it out for the first time taking pictures of them, they're called 'the twins'...but the new tripod sucks bag...so the pics are not great...anyhow...i think they'll stay in the box...
mishi came with me to point roberts...and had to deal with me cursing and calling the border idiot various names...good times...after that we headed to IKEA because mishi needed to do a swap or something and pick-up some other shit. then it was off to Voltage to say hello and thanks...then a drop-by to say hello to marcy at the flower factory-a place she has recently given her notice at (the right thing to do..)...she's off to bigger and much better things....then we needed a snack so we headed to tony's deli for a sandwich...sometimes they grill them enough...today-not enough. good sandwich though.
home now..i may have to help daisley move some shit later on and then it's off to bed early and up even earlier to head to portland with the garbs.

busy day...nice.

tamales, labitt action and meltdowns...

i had a couple meltdowns this week...nothing major but enough. kinda like if you crap your pants. it doesn't actually matter how much crap actually came out and is now hanging in your shorts...the fact is, there's crap in your pants. some is sometimes enough. i had a few heart pains this week, fixed a few things and tried to just look forward to my little trip to portland with the garbs. the network is off to seattle friday night for a swing dance exchange while the garbs and i eat burritos and look at art crap in portland. the garbs will get to eat some of the best mexican food and see a great city at the same time.
the week of work is over for me now. we're taking the friday off and working monday...somewhat retarded but whatever...
tomorrow morning i'm gonna drive down to point roberts and pick-up my new kaws toys...i think they'll be kept in the boxes and i'll visit them later on...maybe not...we'll see...
also tomorrow i'm sending renee, the designer of the coolerator shirt, her coolerator shirt. and drop off the toys i sold this week to the tattoo dude. good times for all...

right now i need sleep very soon...i'm full from my tamale dinner at topanga...i've been into the tamales lately...nice stuff...corie has also gotten on the tamale train...it ain't a bad train to be on...

g. xo

ps...i've also started to take apart the labbit i'm going to blow-up. it's kinda a long story but frank kozik-who designed the labbit and many other toys, has been having a little fight with another toy designer...and i'm blowing up one of his toys...frank wants me too..i have his blessing. i'm doing it because i think david horvath is being a bit of a weiney! sorry, that won't make any sense to anyone outside the geeky toy community...anyhow...this toy is gonna blow sky high...it'll be cool.

hal-day (or half-gay) lemay with his pal...

say a prayer for bruna.

so while i'm talking about having a jammer bruna had one. actually, she had a stroke. bruna is a cool little italian woman whose lawn i cut over near commercial drive. sometimes she speaks to me in half italian/half english. the garbs had his picture taken with her but i can't find it right now.
so say a little prayer for bruna today. she's a good one. i'm gonna go cut her lawn tonight. she deserves it. even if half the time she never pays me.

god bless you bruna.

the return of the jammer.

ok, well not exactly a jammer but something that feels like one. last night near the end of my ultra-shitty day, big deal..., i had those shitty chest pains again. not as terrible as before but shitty enough. i guess it's just stress and when the stress gets high..i get chest pains.
went to topanaga again last night but couldn't start working on the beer fridge until most of the customers were gone...so i slept in my car outside the restaurant for a couple of hours then ate some food with the network, then fixed it. so they once again can see what beer they're serving...presto! let there be light.
i was so tired last night..i actually slept in a little but it didn't matter...not that it ever does. i'm here, shit's getting done...good times.
new toys in today. pics later....

more later...

i love you all

nothing

i have no report today. i'm tired. sore. and even more tired. it's a drag getting old and maybe finally really realizing you ain't never getting what you want....ever. it's even worse thinking and knowing that all your coolness has been washed away forever.

oh well.

rock on.
