for the second time in a week i, as lawn order, have done another task not in the usual lawn order playbook - power raking. (ailsa says i'm diversifying...) and i'll say it now, and out loud - i was a little scared. sure, if it was my lawn, who cares...? but it wasn't, but she's a great client of mine who was happy to have us both learn a new thing on the fly. so away we went, well, i went. the machine i rented is an old unit and shook like a bc ferry and provided a decent workout. and i'll say this too - i loved it. i'm sure if i did it all the time i wouldn't be so enthused but, it was a cool...and that thing makes mincemeat out of the moss.
after i beat the moss into submission i went by and had a nice visit with the super pest craig northey...i knew he was thinking of taking his mower in for service and since i was in the area thought i'd help a fellow bomber out and throw it in the back of the lawn order limo and take it to the shop...i also had a discussion with him about a film project i am going to be working on with yet another bomber brother, damon, and whether he'd be interested in working on the music for it...hopefully with another bomber brother brent belke - brent knows nothing of this yet...soon. very soon. craig said he was in...i'm stoked...more on this as it develops...

ok...now i'm gonna grill up some chicken, make some guac and salsa and have a few tacos...home style. good times.
