it only took four years but it was all worth the wait...and frankly, if pam and tobe hadn't picked-up this little coffee table project it would have never been completed. pam and tobe, along with their partner nick, are Propellor Design and make some pretty great pieces-just check out the lighting at lucy mae brown or at storm salon for starters...anyhow..i love them. i designed the frame for the table four years ago, cut the aluminum and brad purser did the welding..then it sat. and sat. different tops were considered, larry was involved-kind of...when he wasn't loaded, which was when he was asleep, and then pam and tobe offered to make me a top for my birthday. still it took me time to decide what to do. tornack wieghed in as well...the end result is what you see here. i love it. i couldn't be happier with it. solid, strong, eye-catching and unique-i think. gone is the ikea table and hello propellor/big rookie. i can't say enough though about pam and tobe, i am truely thankful to have had them make me this. thank-you. here are some pics...come on over and see it sometime...
garn xo
