i have to admit i hate haggling over prices. especially here where things are, really, for the most part, cheap. or at least inexpensive. but today i did a little to help bring down the price of a 'thing' i bought for the garbs - since the garbs is paying for it, i bargained on his behalf and shaved off a few bucks. the seller seemed happy in the end so all's well...i know the garbs will be happy.
my last full day here was spent walking around - shocker - and checking my mental list of things i wanted to make sure i bought/got before i left here (my xmas list as it were...) and i think i've made a dent in that list and will take a heavy bag with me to the airport tomorrow - a second bag i purchased in oaxaca in case i bought too much...and i did.
i had a nice lunch whipped-up fresh today across from my hotel (video on youtube later on tonight...i hope.) and tonight ricardo, persao and i are going to see the luche libre and i couldn't think of a better way to spend my last night here. hopefully they have some good swag there.
hasta pronto!
